FAQ

What are the families and residents of Morgantown, WV asking? Learn more about Pleasant Day Schools and what we have to offer.

What will my child learn during their time at PDS?

Our programs follow the HighReach curriculum. We strive to create a hands-on approach to learning and an environment where children will be offered plenty of opportunities for free-choice and independent learning. Younger children will learn development skills through social interaction, coordination, creativity and problem solving, while older children will also learn their alphabet, numbers, days of the week, and months of the year. Through all of our programs, we incorporate music, gym, and outdoor activities. By the time your child begins their formal education, they’ll have the skills necessary for a strong start.

How is your facility different from other types of child care in Morgantown, WV?

The best daycares cater to every child’s individual needs and stages of development. Our staff at Pleasant Day Schools will do just that. Our expansive facility offers ample classroom space so that your child can concentrate and interact exclusively with kids their own age. We also have large, age-appropriate playgrounds.
